REFUND POLICY

This Refund Policy describes the terms under which Skipthink LLC, d/b/a Skipthink.AI, ("Skipthink," "we," "us," or "our") may issue refunds for digital products purchased through our services. This Refund Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.
Because our products are AI-generated digital goods that are delivered electronically, they cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense. Our refund policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our business while reflecting the nature of digital products delivered within 24 hours of purchase.
1. REFUND ELIGIBILITY
Our refund policy is based on the purchase price of the product:
1.1. Products Priced Below $20 USD
All sales of products priced below $20 USD are FINAL, subject to Section 1.3 (Report Length) and Section 4.1 (Technical Failures). No refunds will be issued for these products except as described in those sections.
We encourage you to review the product description, sample content (where available), and specifications carefully before making a purchase. If you have questions about whether a product meets your needs, contact us at info@skipthink.com before purchasing.
1.2. Products Priced at $20 USD or Above
For products priced at $20 USD or above, you may request a conditional refund within 30 calendar days of the original purchase date, subject to all of the following conditions:
- (a) The product must materially fail to match its published description. "Materially fails to match" means the delivered product is substantially different in scope, format, or content from what was described on the product listing page at the time of purchase. Examples include:
- The product was described as covering Topic A but instead covers an unrelated Topic B;
- The product was described as containing data analysis but no data analysis is present;
- The product is delivered in an unusable or corrupted file format.
- (b) The following do NOT constitute grounds for a refund:
- General dissatisfaction with the quality, depth, or style of AI-generated content, provided the content matches its published description in scope and format;
- The content does not produce the results or outcomes you expected, whether business, personal, or otherwise;
- Changes in your needs, plans, or circumstances after purchase;
- Discovering that AI-generated content contains minor errors or requires additional verification (as disclosed in our AI Disclosure);
- Failure to download or access the product within the refund window, unless such failure was caused by a technical issue on our end as described in Section 4.1;
- Your inability to use the product due to lack of required software or technical knowledge, unless specific software requirements were not disclosed.
- (c) You must not have substantially consumed, used, or derived significant value from the product prior to requesting the refund. For the purposes of this policy, "substantially consumed" includes, but is not limited to:
- Reading, reviewing, or otherwise accessing the majority of the product content;
- Implementing recommendations from the product in your business or personal affairs;
- Sharing the product with colleagues, associates, or third parties;
- Using the product as a basis for decisions that have already been executed;
- Copying or reproducing significant portions of the product content.
1.3. Automatic Partial Refunds for Report Length
We guarantee minimum word count thresholds for each paid tier. These are the minimum thresholds for full-price delivery:
- Essentials: 3,600 words (approximately 12 pages)
- In-Depth: 6,000 words (approximately 20 pages)
- Comprehensive: 10,000 words (approximately 33 pages)
- Exhaustive: 13,500 words (approximately 45 pages)
If your report is delivered below the minimum word count for the tier you purchased, we will automatically issue a partial refund equal to the difference between your purchase price and the price of the highest tier whose word count your report meets. There is no action required on your part, and you will receive the full report we were able to generate.
For example: if you purchase an Exhaustive report and we deliver an 11,000-word report (which falls below the Exhaustive threshold of 13,500 words but above the Comprehensive threshold of 10,000 words), we would automatically refund the difference between the price of the Exhaustive and Comprehensive reports.
If a report falls below the Essentials threshold, we will refund the full purchase price.
Discounts: If you used a discount code on your purchase, the discount percentage will be applied proportionally to both the original purchase price and the downgraded tier price before calculating the refund. You receive the benefit of the discount on the tier you actually received.
These automatic refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
This guarantee does not apply to the Quick-Take (free) tier.
2. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
2.1. To request a refund, follow these steps:
Step 1: Contact us within 30 calendar days of your original purchase date using one of these methods:
- Email: Send a refund request to info@skipthink.com with the subject line "Refund Request - [Your Order Number]"
Step 2: Provide the following information in your request:
- Your full name and the email address used for the purchase
- Your order number or transaction ID
- The name of the specific product you are requesting a refund for
- A detailed explanation of how the product materially fails to match its published description, with specific references to the product listing and the delivered product
Step 3: Wait for our review. We will acknowledge receipt of your refund request within 2 business days.
2.2. Incomplete refund requests (missing order number, insufficient explanation, etc.) may delay processing. We may contact you to request additional information.
3. REFUND REVIEW PROCESS
3.1. Upon receiving a complete refund request, we will review it within 5 business days. Our review includes:
- (a) Verifying the purchase date and confirming the request is within the 30-day refund window;
- (b) Comparing the delivered product against its published description at the time of purchase;
- (c) Assessing whether the product materially fails to match its description as defined in Section 1.2; and
- (d) Evaluating whether the product has been substantially consumed or used.
3.2. We will notify you of our decision via email within 5 business days of receiving your complete refund request.
3.3. If your refund is approved:
- The refund will be processed through our payment processor within 5 to 10 business days after approval;
- The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase;
- You will receive a confirmation email when the refund has been processed;
- Your license to use the refunded product is immediately revoked upon refund approval; and
- You must delete all copies of the refunded product in your possession.
3.4. If your refund is denied:
- We will provide a written explanation of the reason for denial;
- You may reply with additional information or clarification within 5 business days of the denial notification; and
- We will review any additional information and provide a final decision within 5 business days.
4. SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
4.1. Technical Failures: If you are unable to download or access a purchased product due to a technical error on our end (such as a broken download link or server outage), we will either resolve the technical issue and provide access to the product or issue a full refund, regardless of the product price. Technical failures on our end are not subject to the refund threshold or window limitations. This also includes cases where a report is delivered but its automatic partial refund is processed incorrectly — contact us and we will correct the refund amount.
4.2. Duplicate Purchases: For the purposes of this section, "the same product" means the same version of the product as purchased, not subsequent updates or revisions. If you accidentally purchase the same product twice, contact us at info@skipthink.com and we will issue a refund for the duplicate purchase, regardless of the product price.
4.3. Billing Errors: If you believe you were charged incorrectly (wrong amount, unexpected charge, etc.), contact us at info@skipthink.com immediately. Billing error claims must be submitted within 30 days of the charge. We will investigate and correct any verified billing errors.
4.4. Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card company instead of contacting us directly, we reserve the right to suspend your account and contest the chargeback. We strongly encourage you to contact us first, as we can often resolve issues faster than the chargeback process.
4.5. Refund Abuse: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that demonstrate a pattern of refund abuse, including but not limited to: submitting multiple refund requests that are denied for lack of merit, requesting refunds after substantially consuming the product, or other conduct that Skipthink LLC reasonably determines constitutes abuse of this Refund Policy. Account suspension under this section does not affect any pending legitimate refund requests.
5. REFUND PROCESSING TIMELINE
The complete refund timeline from request to receipt is typically as follows:
- Refund Request Acknowledged: Within 2 business days of submission
- Refund Review Completed: Within 5 business days of receiving a complete request
- Refund Processed (if approved): 5 to 10 business days after approval
- Total Estimated Timeline: 12 to 17 business days from request to receipt
Note: The actual time for funds to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. We do not control processing times once the refund is issued by our payment processor.
6. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will not apply retroactively to purchases made before the change. The refund policy in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to that purchase. Material changes will be communicated in accordance with our Terms of Service.
